New post, how about that.
I’m finally settled into the new space in Brooklyn. Back to creation!
The dream I had last night further pushed me into this mode.
I was sitting on a beach at a lagoon with my girlfriend and some other friend. Looking out at the water I saw these fins, about 20 fins, looked like sharks. Slight panic at the sight but then I found relief when one jumped into the air to reveal that they’re harmless friendly little dolphins.
I pointed them out to my cohorts who were excited. So many dolphins! But, they got closer, and closer, and closer. Until, they jumped on the beach and attacked my fingers with bottle shaped mouths filled with molars. I felt them naw and naw at my fingers, thrashing and trying to take them off.
I was able to shake them off, and run up this set of metal stairs. Then I woke up….
So! That brought me towards finding an interpretation. After talking to friend, who informed me that dolphins stand for creativity and expression, the conclusion arrived that I wasn’t creating to the level I needed. It was like the dolphins were saying “your not using them to create? We’re taking them!” And create I shall!
